I love having a fun, lifestyle, candid approach to senior sessions. I always be sure to get a few of the “posey” smiling images of you for your yearbook & of course Momma! But I also love to get to know you, what you love to do, and I absolutely adore capturing that! I’d also love to know about any locations that you would love to use! Anything that is unique to YOU, I’d love to incorporate!

When choosing outfits, I love to go with colors that compliment the shoot location! I love pastel and neutral colors, flowy fabrics, boho vibes too!

For ladies clothing I always recommend Baltic Born, Bohme, Morning Lavender, and Piper & Scoot! For the guys I always recommend Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, and American Eagle!

I suggest staying away from neon colors, big logos/text, and fabrics that wrinkle easily!

Always feel free to include a prop from something you love to do! Play guitar? Bring it! Love to swing in a hammock? Let’s do it! Wanna get your feet wet? Let’s jump in the creek!

Don’t be worried about not knowing what to do with your hands during a session! I know, it can be a little nerve wracking not knowing what to expect! But I want you to know, thats my job! I will tell you exactly what I need from you so that we can get the perfect composition. We will try different prompts too, to get the most natural look to your images.

Things to know about my senior sessions

Regular sessions usually run between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours. I will let you know when I feel like we have plenty of images that I know you will love!

I usually produce between 35-75 images from your session for you to choose from! I always let you see the best images, I just can’t keep all the goodness to myself!

I deliver most of my imagery as high resolution digital images. These are easily saved to your computer (please be sure to back them up on a flash drive, or in another spot digitally!)

I always recommend purchasing prints of your images from Mpix.com. I never suggest printing from Walmart, Walgreens etc as this will produce “off” coloring and too much contrast, and wouldn’t be true to my imagery.

If you can’t just decide on a few digital images, you can purchase extras at $15 each from your online gallery. You can also always upgrade to a larger package that would include all of your images from your session.

I do both indoor and outdoor sessions. I have a studio space capable of shooting up some gorgeous portraits! I also have a ton of beautiful locations that I use often in Prestonsburg, Pikeville and Paintsville areas!

I perform light editing on all of the images that are keepers from your session. I don’t do much extensive editing work (teeth whitening, removing stray hairs, acne removal, etc) but can perform these tasks at an added hourly rate. I love to get your images as perfect as I can straight from the camera!
